Product Description:

OscarScript (OS) is a complete scripting suite for ircle 3.1 and later.

What's new in this version:

  • Fixed $GMT alias
  • Removed /connecto and /sms option, since they didn't work.
  • Removed cloneoklist, uses friends list instead.
  • Changed join/part messages to reflect friends status, if you see 2 joins/2parts/2 signoffs, disable the ircle supplied ones, do this by selecting the triangle by the topic line.
  • If you have a channel in your channelaccesslist, and someone joins the channel, and is op'd, but they are not on your friends list, a command will be sent to chanserv to see why they were op'd
  • Will still protect your registered nicks, more aggresive then before
  • If a clone joins your channel (that isn't on your friends list) both hosts will be pinged, to see if its active
  • Added /web option, bring you to the oscarscript homepage
  • Option-Tab to autocomplete aliases in the inputline
  • Added /sudoex to use a admin priv bsd subsystem command.
  • Added /savedata option to save script prefs right now!

OscarScript Developer Notefserves in ircle - Version: 7.1.5, 9/24/2005 07:15PM PST

oscar-
I guess oscarscript goal as a script was to manage the user experiance, not make a fserve for file swapping. I used to use fserves a lot, and have a very crude mp3 sharing script, but fserve is a bad way to xfer files, id try limewire or bit torrent if you're interested is doing something like that.

'Ircle has built-in F-Serve functionality. Just enable it in the preferences and create the proper description files within each subfolder in the F-Serve folder. Easy as pie.', he said. Now would you please provide me an example of what these 'proper description files' should appear as? Sorry for sounding newbie but this is exactly the info I am seeking. plmk datdemdar1@yahoo.com
