Complete PHP Commentarywaiting for 4.3.10 or 5.0.3 of this Complete PHP - Version: 4.3.9, 2/28/2005 03:37PM PST

I agree with MacDog... I have been waiting for the newer version but in the manual, it says you can update Complete PHP but I am no expert or a experienced user.. from the install manual;
Building Your Own PHP Update Complete PHP provides all the necessary components to build your own PHP updates against the libraries and headers that are installed. This is generally only recommended for experienced users. The following is the list of arguments passed to "configure" when building Complete PHP: --prefix=/Library/PHP4 --with-apxs2=/Library/Apache2/bin/apxs --with-openssl=/usr --with-zlib=/usr --enable-calendar --enable-shared (this is partial paste but you can find it on page 5 in the manual.. )

So does anyone know the step to provide us to update Complete PHP either to 4.3.10 or 5.0.3

Thanks!

There is a security problem in 4.3.9. Why can't the maintainer of this package update it to 4.3.10?

It would have been nice if I didn't have to go learn about this the hard way. Still, it seemed a lot better than having to compile everything else on my own. I would still recommend it for a quick way to get up and running.
