May work with Tiger but not 10.3.9. Downloaded 3 times and put in /Applications where previos version is located. Have my unopened box of Tiger waiting for rest of you to beta test Tiger. So far have not been impressed with all the results on MacFixIt, Macintouch, Apple forums etc. etc., plus missing printer and scanner driver that will be available "real soon now."

I haven't commented on this app since version 4.3. 6.5.2 with a fuly up to date 10.3.8 runs great on my Mac and I can't believe all the additional features and tweaks since 4.3. This remarkable application is so valuable to non-geeks in reviewinng logs and troubleshooting. I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who wants to seeriously wants to learn to understand what's going on with their Mac. This app is especially useful for the "power user" (but non-geek) but I think the average user can learn a lot about OSX through its use.
And finally the support and continued development of LogMaster over such an extended period of time has been great. Contact with the developer by email has always resulted in very prompt replies. This app is one of those that deserves 6, not 5 stars. Hey, it not only works but it works great.

The available version is still only v5.0, even though the link on the website and on VT is v5.1. Frank indicated that this will be resolved later tonight and v5.1 should be available tonight or tomorrow morning.

Well, there just isn't anything else around like this, easy access to all of the necessary log files and the ability to add your own. The actions when logs are updated is also an extremely powerful tool.
also with the ability to browse the logs from any machine using a Web Browser is also extremely neat. The addition in 4.6 of viewing the compressed passed logs is also a very welcomed addition.
It's just criminal that Frank Fenn has this as shareware when so many others would be charging $30 for it.
Highly recommended, so please please contribute to his efforts if you use it.

Isn't it nice in this day and age that someone writes a quality piece of "shareware" with no nags and which isn't crippled and trusts users to pay him? And he does it in cocoa and supports the product? And it not only works but he writes other software that actually works as well? Don't know the vendor from adam and have never corresponded with him. This is good software. Please pay the fee and support this author. Just visited his site for first time in a long while and it was worth the time. After noticing several other new posts of questionable merit it's also refreshing to find a utility that's actually useful and has a nice UI.
