what next-gen graphics can do - I get a paltry 4FPS on most sections of this game, but that is to be expected; my Radeon 7000 is just not up to it and one would need the pure horsepower of the very latest gfx cards to get decent framerates. If you want to see how Doom3 will perform on your machine, try this - to some extent this performs some graphical effects better than the current version of Doom3.

all the other OSX Quake clients out there: Mouse sensitivity is completely screwed. It's as if someone sets the sensitivity to ".004" whenever something 'happens' within the game, how pitiful. Ever try their Quakeworld client? Multiplayer in QWTF? Scoff, what a joke, I stick to os9 if I ever need to play Quake 1.

lets hear it for the guys at FOD. Classic Quake gets no love these days. If not for FOD, well, it'd suck that's for sure. Nehara next please.
