Completely unimpressed. No polyphonic support. Many of the included songs have terrible pacing and/or wrong notes, so (to me) they're completely useless. Doesn't interface with the phone to upload the ringtones, which to me would be THE most useful feature. Really can't find any use for this for my purposes with my phone. Maybe five years ago when I was using a cheap Nokia, but not in 2003. Way overpriced for what you get, IMHO.
1. Emaied it to the phone (adds garbage you don't see on the phone making it impossible to recognize as a ringtone), then
2. Re-sent from the phone to itself as text message (removes garbage) and, viola, a new ringtone.
Paid and registered, and the "fun" started:
1. Randomly enters a base note in the staff when a sharp note was selected (I hear the sharp note when entered), and plays back as a base note. I delete the note and reenter it several times before the proper note is entered.
2. Randomly, as I play back a section one of the notes has dropped an octave. When I delete that note and reenter, it is OK but an earlier note drops an octave!
I have sent feedback regarding these problems, but have as of yet to hear a word in reply. I have managed to suffer through composing one successfull ringtone, and was happy with the result; but until these bugs are fixed IT'S NOT WORTH IT! One star for only one successful ringtone. AARRGGHH!
