- Fully Automatic IT8-Calibration with Studio Version: Added a new feature that improves the IT8 calibration. The IT8 target will be recognized automatically and performs all steps until reporting success.
- Scan frame: Look of scan frame changed. Instead of cross-hairs for rotating half-arcs can be used now. Also active frame is blinking in order to be noticed easier.
- Nikon: Fixed an issue with embedded Kodachrome profiles when using HDR scan mode of SilverFast and opening the resulting image files in Photoshop without processing the images in SilverFast HDR/DCPro before.

- General: the IT8 calibration now requires a result deltaE value of less than 6.0 to be taken successful.

Why no ICE2? - Version: 6.5.4, 3/23/2007 02:15AM PST

Hello. I'm wondering why there is no support of ICE2 on Mac OS X (there seems to be support for it on the Windows version). This sort of keeps me from trying/buying this product. At the moment I still se an old G3 Desktop with Mac OS 9 to use my Nikon LS2000 scanner. Will ICE2 ever be supported?

Even the LS2000 is not the fastest scanner and the SCSI was hard to make it work und panther. I can scan again and used it now for about 4000 slides and 25 negativ films.
