Product Description:
iSpeak It is a file-to-audio converter that serves as a perfect companion to the iPod or iPhone. iSpeak It loads Word, PDF, Pages 2, RTF, AppleWorks, text and HTML documents. It downloads news, weather forecasts, driving directions, and arbitrary web pages as well as RSS feeds. iSpeak It then uses the Mac's text-to-speech engine and iTunes to convert the text into an MP3/AAC track.
What's new in this version:
This release improves document and RSS processing and fixes problems with News and Directions downloading.

As other say, great idea but poor in the execution. Not working 98% of the time... crashes and error meessages on conversion to iTunes. I don't have the patience of others to try this in different formats on different machines with different OS scenarios. If it doesn't work it doesn't work.

This does almost what I'm looking to do but I really need to have control over the quality of the output which doesn't seem to exist. I'd also like to be able to perform batch recordings with sftp support, oh, yea and applescript support.
