Great game and really excellent support. Highly recommended.
only two tile options?

Decent game, tho unremarkable... About 4 years behind game design, and this doesn't really reflect the elegance of OS X. How about more tile options? Better menu that doesn't require digging back through the window? Ability to quit at any time, again, without having to click back several times through the window. $12 for this fairly static game is expensive...

Best original TETRIS implementation I've seen to date. Just a few gripes: Where's the original music? How 'bout an easier-to-use interface to select music tracks? Why can't I play more than one track?

gr8tfly, not having keyboard input is a bug in the keyboard routines used by games which shows up sometimes in Jaguar. To fix, reboot your machine, and everything should work properly.

I hadn't played it for a while, so I tried 1.4. Doesn't respond from keyboard input.
Went back to 1.3.x, same thing. Trashed all preferences. No help.

Annoying bugs...

I'd actually pay for the game, but not until they fix these annoying bugs:
The music stops for a few seconds then starts again from time to time for no reason. This is on a 1.8 Ghz G5 so don't tell me my computer is too slow! Running OSX 10.3.3, with or without other programs running.
There are annoying changes in tempo for no reason at higher levels. This includes a change in the speed of the controls, which really messes me up occasionally moving a piece side to side and I end up overshooting or undershooting the column I wanted. I've also seen the blocks speed up or slow down while dropping occasionally for no reason. Both these come and go anytime in mid-level, so it doesn't appear to be related to a change in difficulty or skill level.

please disregard my criticisms below as both bugs have now been fixed in version 1.3.
this is a great game and well worth the $12 (if you like tetris).

Graphics are smooth on an older machine running 10.2.6. The help is only a text file in the folder with the app (is built-in help that hard?), but the interface is generally simple enough to use without it.
There is supposedly the option to change the background music, but no documentation about which file formats are supported (MP3 only perhaps) and there is no option to change the volume level for either the background music or the sound effects (both of which are very loud compared to the system). Still can't decide if it is worth the price of registration.

Try the alternate download link. It appears to be working

Is quite an appropriate name. Download link is broken...In addition, the dumb feedback system on VersionTracker forces you to select that you used the software if you want to submit the Commentary. Quite dumb, given that mine says download link is broken. Hint anyone at TeckTracker?
