nikuashi2i unplugged my external isight cam and i launched it again. it launched twice but crashed twice when i tried to record on the internal mic.
the second time it crashed, it asked if i would like to reset the settings (which i guess means trash the preference file) and reopen. i clicked yes, and i was able to make a recording. it even saved into its proper folder. sweet.
this needs a little tweak, but it isnt dead!

nikuashi2i repaird my permissions recently and i wonder if that is all it was.
it works just fine now! not sure what changed. i will experiment and see if i can duplicate the crashes to figure out the problem.
im on a powerbook G4 2GB ram 1.5GHz 15" with an external isight currently plugged in......
i am also using rouge amoebas "SoundSource" and im not sure if that has anything to do with it or not....
i am REALLY happy that it works again!

VTTrickedAt the beginning I used version 2.2 on an iBook G4 with Mac OS X 10.3.9 and now I'm using version 3.1 on a slightly faster iBook G4 with Mac OS X 10.4.10.
It works just great!
I've been recording hours and hours of lessons (with the built-in microphone), which I shared with my classmates.
It is really easy to use, but still gives space to a lot of customizing: I could choose the best settings in order to make my recordings well understandable, while keeping the files not too big (about 100 Mb for an hour and a half or so of voice recording).
And, on the top of it, it is free!
I really recommend this app to anyone there who need to record from microphone!

If you are running 10.4.11 you have to use version 3.1 which you I could recently find on the web.
I have a MacBook Pro Intel Core 2 Duo 2.16 Mhz.
