report that the behavior Ostman ran into was caused by a third-party OS add-on (extension/haxie/dockling/etc.), not by Mac OS 10.2.3. As I suggested earlier, if you log in with the shift key held down, disabling third-party hacks, EdList runs fine. I haven't been able to pin down which add-on causes the crash, since it has only happened to two out of 1,000+ users.

hear about your quitting problem. I haven't been able to test EdList under 10.2.3 yet--I can't risk upgrading my development machine, given 10.2.3's reported problems, so I'm waiting until the dust settles and workarounds or patches arrive. meanwhile, I'd suggest trying it with extensions off. Shift-rebooting worked for one other user who was having similar problems--they turned out to be caused by a third-party haxie. It's worth a try, anyway.
