Apple DVD Studio Pro X Commentarychanges to Apple web site prevent downloading updates - Version: 4.0.3, 1/31/2006 09:07PM PST

In the past, I could download updates to any/all components of FinalCut StudioPro simply by providing my serial number and AppleID.

Now, when I submit my AppleID and registered FCSP serial number, I get a message stating that I have already downloaded the latest version of DVD Studio Pro. When in fact, I have not.

The update does show up in my Software Updates control panel, but I prefer to download the standalone updater should I need to reinstall in the future.

Come on, Apple. Get with the program. What knumb-nuts thought of this new policy that is preventing licensed, registered owners like me from downloading the updates we're entitled to?

Apple DVD Studio Pro X CommentarySeems to have resolved slideshow transitions issue... - Version: 3.0.2, 11/5/2004 05:38PM PST

Seems to have resolved a longstanding issue which caused burns to abort when using slideshows with transitions between the individual images. No problem installing the update.
