it's OK on Panther. Nice and useful.

But I purchased the SN almost 5days ago, and there's no SN yet.

Just hope there will be a SN someday.

Wow, if I could just get the features of MiCal and MenuCalendar hooked together, that would be great. Actually, all that MiCal seems to be missing is a full view calendar when you click on it. Would be nice to have a graphical month view, in addition to the linear day listing.

this is a "must-have", one of the only dang things on this site I've paid for. Just wish they'd add an ability to add events from the menu without having to open up the whole cumbersome iCal program. Great work.

MiCal ReviewLaundry list - Version: 1.0.1, 11/5/2003 11:43PM PST

Here's what it needs to have my $9:
1) Show "to-do" items that have a set due date, in the menu.
2)Allow menu item for "next week"
3)Allow option to see small calendar
4)would be nice if it could be moved around w/ command, but I know this might not work.
5) have option to have date as well as day show in the menu.

Thank you for your development, now let's bring it to the finish line!

MiCal Troubleshooting ReportiCal 1.5.1 issue fixed in MiCal 1.0.1 - Version: 1.0, 10/22/2003 10:17AM PST

I've fixed the problem in compatibility between MiCal 1.0 and iCal 1.5.1. The new MiCal version 1.0.1 should work fine both with iCal 1.5.1, Mac OS X 10.2.8 and 10.3.

MiCal Troubleshooting ReportProblems w/ iCal 1.5.1 - Version: 1.0, 10/16/2003 05:24PM PST

It seems that the new iCal 1.5.1 is creating problems w/ MiCal. It does not show some or all of the iCal calendars in its list as well as has problems show events in the menu (duplicate entries).

I've sent a message to the developer inform him of the issues. He seems very helpful and hopefully he will get a quick fix for this very popular software. (Of course paying the shareware only encourages him more!)

MiCal Commentary...in a good way - Version: 1.0, 5/31/2003 09:17PM PST

Sorry to disappoint, but I'll take that in a good way, as it is a great compliment that you like what I've done well enough to want me to expand the scope. I admit I have been getting requests for To Do functionality, and the reverse is true of BurnoutMenu users asking them for Event functionality. Sticky issue.

I wasn't sure if people were reading riffraf's "I'm disappointed" comment title and shying away from the product, so I wanted to respond and point out to folks that riffraf also gave the product a pretty high overall star rating :-)

I welcome any feedback from users (especially REGISTERED users) and I'll continue checking this site for comments as well as at the support email address. If somebody likes the product so much that they are disappointed it doesn't do more, it is great to hear that in feedback like this from 'riffraf' where it comes coupled with a great star rating on the current product. ;-) I try to include anything I can within reason and the time I can allot to MiCal that will make the product more useful, and people that give constructive feedback that supports the product make that much easier. Thanks! --author
