Product Description:
PhotoScore Ultimate, incorporating OmniScore2 technology, is fast and highly accurate music scanning and recognition software - the musical equivalent of a text OCR program. Also capable of reading handwritten scores and converting PDF files to music files, it is easy-to-use, transposes, plays-back, prints out, and exports scanned scores in a number of formats. It reads a wide range of styles including percussion and 4 and 6 line guitar tablature. No time limit. Save and printing disabled.

- Improved semibreve recognition (not converting to minims when inappropriate)
- Prevented fake barlines being added before time sigs with larger gaps in transposing scores

- Improved flag recognition (higher detail in search)
- Improved staveline removal to keep more of line in thin flags (improving flag recognition)
- Removes excess notes and rests found after double barlines at ends of staves

- Reads wider range of crotchet rests, segnos, codas, mordents, turns, pedal markings, fermata, repeat endings

I have used various versions of PhotoScore over the years and am amazed by this latest one (v4). Neuratron have really pulled out all the stops and this release is incredibly accurate (saves a lot of time over keying in manually!) and is much easier to use. It also allows me to open music PDF files, transpose them and print them back out which is great for adapting pieces for different voices.
A must for musicians everywhere!
