Why in heaven do you not create your own set of shortcuts in InDesign i stead of begging for some silly extensions? Wake up it's the age of InDesign flexibility :-)

but not a good fix. And I agree, ID is not as user friendly as XPress, but you can learn it in a week and then it is perfect in OS X.

But there are still some of us who prefer Quark. I use both, and prefer Quark.
Criticizing us, belittling us, these are not methods which are going to win us over to InDesign.
InDesign is a fine program, but I still find Quark to be more intuitive, more user-friendly.
All said, though, I think it is mainly a matter of which program you "grew up with" -- kind of like the difference between standard and metric. Both fine measuring systems, but most people prefer the system they are familiar with.
As far as disabling the annoying Dock command, just go into system prefs, under Keyboard & Mouse>Keyboard Shortcuts. The control for hiding the dock is near the bottom of the list. Just turn it off.
