Still Life CommentaryOK...they're not going to develop it - Version: 2.3.4, 4/18/2009 06:42PM PST

from the plasq website:

"Thanks for your messages.

Still Life is no longer available for sale. We are providing Still Life 2.4 - Universal Binary - as a courtesy to our existing users who have transitioned to Intel processors. But at this time there are no plans to sell new licenses.

Very sorry for the inconvenience."

But they post a a link to the old grantedsw.com website...where you can download the Universal Binary version 2.4

<sigh>

What a great application that *was*

For those of us hoping for an update from Granted SW, this new from plasq.com, makers of Comic Life http://plasq.com/component/option,com_joomlaboard/Itemid,40/func,view/id,5006/catid,17/ Re:Still Life - 2006/12/15 12:17 Hi there, Yes, it is true: plasq is acquiring some software created by granted software. In the up and coming months; you will slowly see some of granted software's previous titles become a part of the plasq lineup. 1) We are currently working on a Universal Binary of Still Life - this will be released at grantedsw.com 2) We plan on doing some updates soon and releasing it under the plasq brand - within 6 months hopefully. 3) We have no plans to release it for Windows at this stage Hope this helps

Still Life Troubleshooting ReportExport fails on very large image? - Version: 2.3.4, 10/12/2006 02:25AM PST

This software is very convincing, and though the preview may seem a bit choppy at times, the exported media is generally of very high quality. With normal resolution images, I have never found any problems.

But now I have made a pan through a large Panaroma image (24000 px width, 2000 px height) that previews just fine - but when I try to export, no matter which format I choose, I will see the export progress window for a short time, then the export seems to finish, but there is no resulting media file (and also no error message).
