When I press 'Start Scan' it says there is something wrong, I am on OSX and have a functioning AIRPORT, I have selected the correct Port, the correct driver.. I have done everything it says. But still it doesn't work.. what can I do... please e-mail if you can. Bovver_boi@yahoo.co.uk... whats the solution?? and can anybody guide me into to cracking my wireless network using KISMAC.. I don't find anything I've seen online very helpful.

I spent about five minutes clicking on the doohickey next to the words "Start Scan", examining preferences, going through other menus, clicking the other buttons on the interface, before I discovered (by an accidental mouse-over) that the words "Start Scan" themselves were the "button" to start scanning. Recommend you come up with a way to communicate this better visually.
Should not be listed here...

According to the developers, this is a development/beta version and they specifically request that it not be listed in VersionTracker/MacUpdate/etc.
Having used r273 flawlessly since it came out, I tried it immediately and found that on my MBP with 10.5.4, it crashed when trying to complete a scan, leaving the Airport Extreme driver in an inconsistent state that required a system reboot. Caveat emptor.
As is stated all over the product's page, this is not a toy and requires knowledge of how wireless network function in order to fully exploit its capabilities. There are plenty other free stumblers around for casual use.

Program has never worked - Version: r278, 7/28/2008 08:35AM PST

I've tried all the versions of this program and have never gotten it to work. The computer that I'm using is a Powerbook G4 running 10.5.3. To get out of the program I have to do a forced quit. I clearly can't recommend this program since it doesn't work.
Not just a stumbler...

This is the first stumbler I've used that kills an existing wireless connection. Other stumblers have allowed me to run the stumbler while also surfing the net. AP Grapher works better for me.

Running a MacBook Pro with airport extreme, and with the last feed (it´s in this page) that works better than this, doesn´t let airport extreme passive as injection. For more information you can visit this page: http://www.kismetwireless.net/Forum/Equipment/Messages/1170919945.7235651
