Product Description:

KisMAC is an opensource and free stumbler/scanner application for Mac OS X. It has an advantage over MacStumbler/iStumbler/NetStumbler in that it uses monitor mode and passive scanning.

KisMAC supports several third party PCMCIA cards - Orinoco, PrismII, Cisco Aironet, Atheros and PrismGT. USB Prism2 is supported as well, and USB Ralink support is in development. All of the internal AirPort hardware is supported as well.

Please note: This program is not intended for novices, but for professional users. Take this as a warning

This is the first stumbler I've used that kills an existing wireless connection. Other stumblers have allowed me to run the stumbler while also surfing the net. AP Grapher works better for me.

Running a MacBook Pro with airport extreme, and with the last feed (it´s in this page) that works better than this, doesn´t let airport extreme passive as injection. For more information you can visit this page: http://www.kismetwireless.net/Forum/Equipment/Messages/1170919945.7235651

I have an MacBook with MacOS X v. 10.4.10 intel 2 ghz intel core 2 duo...its the black one 13 inches...can someone help me...I've downloaded like 3 with different compiled...I downloaded one from the last feed back under mine its the best one yet....but says that I dont have a injection support driver
