Product Description:

Convert any ordinary text file into an audiobook in AIFF format, which you can drag and drop into iTunes, convert to MP3, use in iMovie and other multimedia projects, and even take with you on your iPod. AudioBookMaker 1.0 is a simple, one-window, one-file shareware application which takes advantage of Mac OS X 10.2 Jaguar's built-in abilities of text-to-speech with your choice of 22 voices.
This application will only work in Macintosh OS X 10.2 Jaguar (10.2.2 preferred). Please be sure you've tried the unregistered version on your system before you register. Shareware version's window has a larger footprint and reminders to register.

What's new in this version:

Preview feature/button, increased stability. Free registered version for those who paid for AudioBookMaker 1.0.

hack_the_planet
understand why the author is selling a GUI for an applescript which is available from Apple for free. I realize that the author acknoledges the presence of the functionality of the product in the OS and the low price, but aren't there other good uses for development time?
