Hi There,
If you are like me, and have post-it notes, and little slips of paper with phone numbers, notes to yourself about errands, etc, all over your desk space, then you'll Love this little application.
I have definitely gotten more done after using, and buying this application..
I paid for it, after a day or so of using it, back about a month or so ago, because I figured, if I paid for it, then I'd use it.. Which I have.
You can't hit the target, unless you know what you're aiming for..
Use it in good health,
Unkie

ToDo X CommentaryUseless - Version: 2.0, 1/21/2006 03:33PM PST

A To Do-manager without the possibility to add dates and times, and without an alarm function, is completely useless. At least for me.

This is the best and most practical ToDo list manager I have seen. I tried quit a few and left them all unused. This one I use every day. Highly recommended.

ToDo X ReviewAbsolutely Perfect Piece of Software - Version: 1.9.1, 9/19/2005 11:46AM PST

I've downloaded ALL of the task management software of versiontracker in my search for the perfect organiser for my desktop. Every single one has a drawback of one kind or another.... except ToDo-X. This is it... save yourself the time and download it. I use categories for each of my clients, and the everything about this is perfect. It even looks good and gives you a choice of skins.

It sounds stupid, but this little piece of software has already improved my efficiency, and helps me get everything done. I've stopped worrying about all the things in my head now, as this little baby has taken over!!!!

It's not often I'm movitated to leave a review for something, and less often I actually end up subscribing for a piece of shareware, if it's voluntary... like this one.

It's simple and perfect, so give it a go and forget all the other rubbish available.

This is a great app for when you need a simple to-do program that can sit in the corner of your screen, unobtrusively. I tried a bunch of other task management programs and this was the one that really did it "right".

The developer's also been very good about updates lately and has been extremely accessible.

Fifteen bucks does seem a little much for a small app like this but since I use it every single day, it seems worth it in the end.

ToDo X ReviewIntuitive but limited - Version: 1.7, 4/4/2005 06:04AM PST

There are obviously a multitude of applications that will accomplish the same tasks as "ToDo X" ranging from Stickies to Entourage. Nevertheless, the simple and intuitive interface is a pleasure to use. Thus this program has become my default application for organizing simple "to-do" lists. I know it is a little silly to spend $15 for such a simple program, but it's just a little bit easier to use than the alternatives.

Nevertheless, it is limited in one critical area. If you need a "remind" fuction than this program will not help you. Ergo, I still rely on Entourage for tasks where I must have an alarm clock feature.

ToDo X ReviewCan't delete a comment anymore? - Version: 1.7, 2/18/2005 04:04PM PST

Apologies to Omicron. It was only a snotty autoresponder. . .
And now (thanks, kd2003) I feel I should also add: My name is Zo and I am a haxie user.

Seriously, it's my responsibility to troubleshoot with a startup sans haxies before complaining here. Though I do not regard haxies as devil spawn, au contraire. If you're over fourteen, it's only themes like Changeling Morpheus or SS Chosen Aero that give you a non-silly interface.

So I added to the mindless flames that have so distorted the rating star system here? Five stars to boost it back up - though I would like to see To Do snazzed up and in some way minimize or slide so that only one list is visible.

I was wrong to say "you can't turn off the "are you sure you want to delete?" warning". There is a way to do this, though it's buried in one of the docs. FWIW, the doc warns of other consequences of turning off the warning which the developer acknowledges are not really of concern.
