Product Description:
Synergy is a tiny Cocoa application for Mac OS X 10.2 (and later) that puts three buttons to control iTunes in your menubar: previous track, next track, and play/pause; as well as providing you with visual feedback about the currently playing tune. Synergy can display the cover of the currently playing album. The Synergy controls, together with the ability to control iTunes via system-wide Hot Key combinations, mean that Synergy provides the fastest way of skipping between songs when using the keyboard or the mouse; all this without having to switch to iTunes, or access its Dock menu. Synergy is only $5 (USD).
Synergy won't take up precious space in your Dock as it appears only in the menubar. It provides you with ultimate control over iTunes even while you're working in other applications. The Synergy global menu provides you with quick access to recently played tracks and playlists, and the floater displays album covers (automatically downloaded by Synergy, or embedded in the tracks by iTunes) and provides information whenever a new track starts playing.

What's new in this version:
- [Bugfix] Upgraded installer to Install version 1.2.3, fixing a rare (one crash report in 18 months) crash.
- [Bugfix] Corrected incorrect references to the price of Synergy which appeared in the English localization (the price was shown in dollars instead of euros).
- [Bugfix] When entering registration information, Synergy now automatically strips any excess leading or trailing whitespace (that is, tabs, spaces, newlines) from the entered license code and email address; this makes it easier to copy and paste from the registration notice into Synergy without accidentally introducing additional characters which would otherwise result in an invalid license code/email address combination. In addition, the license code is no longer case-sensitive (the email address, however, still is). See bug #69 for more information.
- [Bugfix] Fix a number of small leaks (leaked Apple Events); the reduced memory footprint may lead to improved performance. There are some small leaks still remaining, but these are Apple bugs in NSAppleScript and are known to Apple.
