TERRIFIC SOFTWARE

I have used this software for more than 3 years and have found it to be very easy to use and very stable. Perfect for home publishing or the pro. At $99 you will not find a better value anywhere no matter what anyone else says. I prefer this over Quark and InDesign any day. I can accomplish any task I need to with it.
NOT a Quark Knock off...quite the opposite... - Version: 7.0.4, 2/4/2006 10:56AM PST

I've been using Multi-Ad Creator since version 3 way back in the 90's, back when Aldus Pagemaker was king of layout software. It's been around longer than Quark Xpress, as far as I know.
I currently use version 7.04 pro and love it. It's stable, and the company is very responsive to customer input.
While it CAN be used to do just about anything, I use it in conjunction with other tools...for quickly creating display advertisements for newspapers, there is nothing quicker, simpler, or more flexible.
My own workflow is thus: Create ad with multi-ad creator, export to eps, place that eps into the master layout in InDesign. It works BEAUTIFULLY!

I have plenty of DTP apps that I like, but there is a class that I don't keep around: those that cannot handle all manner of typefaces, like Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. This app is one of those that will not accept 2-byte character input. I stopped there and trashed the demo. It's orthographically hidebound. If you ONLY need to concern yourself with an app that handles the Latin character set, then this may be what you're looking for; but if you need a broader linguistic range, you need to look elsewhere.
