While KFA was not able to fix my keychains, it identified a problem keychain that was not showing up in Keychain Access. Once I finally deleted the rogue keychain usin KA and created a new default keychain, I ran KFA and it verified that the keychain was valid and set the settings. Now my keychain unlocks when I log in as it should. Thanks!!!!

I used this program i was asked for my password every time I had a program accessing keychain (e.g. Entourage). I finally had to trash my preference files to get it to work properly. not sure if Kechain first Aid corrupted the files or what, but I'm not happy about what it did.

whether to be grateful for the fix or furious that they could have left such basic service limping along for so incredibly long.
