Product Description:

Memory Hog eats memory. It allocates memory to itself in "chunks" every second while told to do so. You can start and stop the memory allocation process, and you can reclaim all the used memory back whenever you want.
You could use this tool to flush all other applications out of real RAM, or to test virtual memory performance. It's just something interesting to play with.
Source code is included.

Memory Hog Troubleshooting Reporti see one problem... - Version: 1.0, 6/29/2004 12:37AM PST

plaintiger

as i write this, Memory Hog is teling me it's used 22 GB of RAM and counting. um...i only *have* two gigs in my machine.

i also - according to Activity Monitor - never go below 25 MB free and about 625 MB inactive.

is there some way for me to get an *accurate* picture of what this app is doing?
