Product Description:

iRC is a Cocoa-based IRC client with many features, including DCC, nick completion, multiple servers, a graphical user interface, AppleScript support and so on.

iRC attempts to provide a simple, clear interface, usable by any Mac user, while still providing enough options that the experienced IRC user can find their way around and customise it how they like. To this end, all of the colours can be altered, along with fonts and the overall transparency of the window. Plugins can be implemented in both AppleScript and Objective C, allowing for integration with other applications and further automated use. Plugins can even alter the way the text appears, allowing for an iChat-like interface or for words to be filtered, links harvested and so on.

Using a simple list of servers, below which appear channels, queries and DCCs, you can quickly and easily see what activity is happening where. Using highlights, iRC can signal you that someone is talking about you or a subject you're interested in in a channel you're on. Alternatively, a tab-based view allows items servers, channels and so on to be listed along the top or bottom of the screen.

File transfers, including resume, are fully supported, and can be initiated quickly and simply by using drag and drop to the user on a channel you want to send to. DCC chat is also provided to allow direct communication between computers.

Naming your software after a generic computing term is really poor form.

1-Does not work well with Mac Tiger OS X 10.4.3
2-Had to force quit application as it froze screen.
3-This version is not functional as auto-log in no there and if your an operator commands do not work.
4-A shareware you want us to register this. No way Jose!
5-Compared to your competition you should abandon this project as one had to pay they could buy Snak which runs circles around this project.
6-Next even Colloquy, Chatzilla, Conversation, Opera, XChat-Aqua are far superior for chatting and are free.
7-I hope you can accept constructive criticism? I did not post this to offend anyone.
8-When you bring out a new product such as this one must merchandise it properly. You must also advertise it and be a good salesman to prove: Why should one want to buy your product? What makes you better than your fellow competitors?
9-You did not convince me as all I saw was a basic IRC client with no support on how to use it or anything. I know you worked hard on this and I appreciate your efforts.
10-But there is too much competition out there and you have to be on your toes. You planned how the project would work and what it can do, yet you forgot the most important things out.
11-I can not endorse and will not buy a software that is beta. The Opera Browser found out the hard way and now it is free as of this year ad free.
12-Therefore I rate you as poor in all of Version Trackers questions asked of me. Anyone thinking of purchasing look at what is available for free.

This is still my favorite IRC application on the Mac. Everything else I've tried either trip over themselves with features or have small annoyances. Sure it's not updated often, but it works well and it looks good doing it. :)
