Product Description:

DarkAdapted is useful for astronomers and others who need to preserve dark adaptation while using the computer. DarkAdapted controls the three gamma channels (red, green, and blue) independently. It also provides full control over preset gamma settings, fade rate, and gamma toggle keys.

What's new in this version:

  • This beta expires on 01 February 2007.
  • This is a final candidate release. If no bugs are reported, this release will become DarkAdapted 2.0 final.
  • Mac: Updated Sample Applescript included.
  • Gang Sliders controls now remember their state across launches.
  • Updated User Guide.

There was an Installer bug that has been fixed in the latest release (2.3.6a). The below feedback was for the pre-release version (2.3.6fc1).

The installer try to delete "everything" in my Utilities folder !!!!! I lost about hundred of system utilities and 3rd party software inside. Lucky I can restore them through Time Machine.

I will never! never! try it anymore.
