Product Description:

iConquer is an addictive game of world conquest, played by 1 to 6 players. The object of the game is to conquer the world by occupying all 42 countries on the map. iConquer takes full advantage of the Aqua interface and the Quartz graphics system, displaying stunning visual effects like transparency, drop shadows, and anti-aliasing. The game is played on a detailed map made from a NASA satellite photograph.

What's new in this version:

Maps
- Added plug-in support for custom maps.
- The world map displays the boundary between Europe and Asia more clearly.
Players
- Added plug-in support for custom player personalities.
- Player's names and colors can now be changed in the Statistics window.
Network
- The network code has been rewritten from scratch. Network play is now practically as fast as single player games.
- Added support for connecting to game servers using iconquer:// URLs.
- Added preference to specify network port, for better compatiblity with firewalls and routers.
- Added preference to specify connection speed, for better compatiblity with slow internet connections (modem/ISDN).
Languages
- Added Icelandic language support (thanks to Hörður Helgason).
- Added Japanese language support (thanks to Chuck Douglas).
- Added Norwegian language support (thanks to Andreas Norbye).
- Added Portuguese language support (thanks to Ricardo Lamego).
- Added Spanish language support (thanks to Ken Arroyo).

Things seem to have changed... after some months of apparent inactivity Kavasoft appears to have come back to life. I'm a long time Mac user (since the 80s) and almost certain I did nothing different but after the umpteenth attempt at transferring the registration the application now works. I like this diversion and am more than happy to retract my earlier frustrated and negative comments; I note though that I've still not received a reply to any of my numerous earlier emails requesting tech support. Even a small response would go a long way to my giving this app a clean bill of health once more.

The license - transfer support page worked “like a charm” for me, your mileage may vary, kavasoft also replied by email in about 5 minutes. registered user since 2003.
