Product Description:

Image To Desktop is an application that helps you place images onto the desktop of your Mac. It takes images of any size and proportions, scales them as needed, and sets the areas not filled by the image with either a background colour or a texture. A preview is available so that you can see what your desktop might look like.

had your sys prefs set to change your desktop picture every minute or two? If so, this won't work, because sys prefs isn't REALLY changing it, it's just showing slides over your desktop and thus over this programs prefs. You have to turn that off first in fact you will probably see the one you set when you turn off sys prefs if I am right!.
