DayChaser ReviewI agree, what iCal should have been ...... - Version: 2.0.2, 6/3/2006 08:26AM PST

After reading that recommendation and experiencing the "non-intuitive" functioning of iCal, I moved on to Daychaser. What a "BREEZE" to use! Clear, simple, fast, intuitive - I was up and running in literally minutes. Laying out my calendar schedule is painless and superbly easy. In addition delete, paste, and copy functions are a pleasure aka: as in a word processor application, so no need to read any instructions on how to do it. I would highly recommend anyone to give this application a spin!! I'm totally pleased, and on to other things instead of wasting time trying to figure out how an application works!!!

I have tried/used them all over the past 10 years. This is by far the BEST calendar and appointment scheduler that I have used.

DayChaser CommentaryHard to tell from demo - Version: 1.0.4, 12/8/2003 04:20PM PST

Two things I can't tell from the demo make me reluctant to go ahead. I like the simplicity, but:

-- I would like to see how a week view prints. Will it -- like iCal -- truncate the event, leaving me only with times and no labels? No week printing in demo.

-- Can I modify the color scheme? Seem only to be able to change month view in preferences. And once I have done that I cannot change back. Cannot change day or week view.

Like the simplicity of scheduled events. Could be a good choice. Tired of iCal's print limitations and I don't need all of the bloat of some other apps.
