Product Description:

iBlog is an elegant desktop weblogging application that makes authoring and publishing your personal weblogs a breeze. Unlike other weblogging systems, You don't have to be an expert database administrator or a perl programmer to setup and use iBlog. You can preview and publish your weblogs to your iDisk with a single click of a button.

What's new in this version:

Added support for Blog Banner Image. A new tag <$BlogBannerImage$> is now supported in the BlogPage.txt template file. This version updates the BlogPage.txt template file in the default RightNavigation and LeftNavigation template sets to add this tag.
Fixed the issue where the wrong EntryPage.txt template file was used when there are multiple blogs with different template sets.
Fixed the issue in the Publish panel where all the updated blogs are not listed for selection.
The Enclosure URLs in the RSS feed file are properly encoded.
Fixed the issue with the post date of an edited entry in Dutch localization.
Fixed the issue with URLs of media files in the Blog, Category and Entry pages.

The developer appears to have abandoned this product completely, the ibloggers forum has been taken down (losing a huge amount of information) and support tickets on the Lifli site go unanswered. I've used v1 for years and it still works on 10.5.6 on Intel, but v2 was never properly sorted. Don't risk your money.

I just updated to Leopard and when I try to open iBlog, it completely locks up my Mac. It bounces on the doc, then stops bouncing, and all I get is a spinning ball. I can't even force quit and have to turn off the power and restart. I've opened a problem ticket with Lifli, but gotten no response.

This product hasn't been updated since 08/2007. It might be time to give up and move on to an actively supported product.

Please download the latest build of iBlog 2.0 RC2 from http://www.lifli.com

As noted in this post on iBloggers.net: http://www.ibloggers.net/C1970894105/E20070417150850/index.html , There are a couple of critical bug fixes in this new build. You should be able to register the new build.

Use the "E-mail Bug Report" option in the "Help" menu to report bugs.
