version 1.03b7. What's the difference with today's 1.03 and yesterday's 1.03b7?
First, I must say that after installing Panther I didn't have a problem with version 1.0 (used for 9 months), my wireless worked just as it always did. But in order to 'keep up with the Joneses'' I downloaded v. 1.03b7. I opened/installed the driver 'package'; as others have noted, my installation went flawlessly. After the reboot, I went online. Period. Now I will install v. 1.03.
I even E-mailed the company about the driver (1.0) working without a hitch aftering installing Panther and they responded happily. Great company, great driver!
All kudos to IOXperts.

seperate cards with the opensource wireless driver before using the IOXperts beta driver. Let me just say that after spending hours (maybe days) of wasted time trying to get the opensource driver to work in any way possible, it was quite refreshing to download this beta, install it and have it work excatly as it should (including WEP which refused to function under the previous driver). Needless to say, I instantly registered. Thanks.

my first two days without my G3 PB freezing and requiring a hard restart about 2 or 3 times a day! While the interface is somewhat different, the G3 PB connnects to, and operates with, an Airport network exactly the same as two iBooks using Apple hardware & software. That includes WEPs encryption. This is a first for me since OS 9.x days. Thank you!

definitely fixes the WEP problem. The developers have been very responsive to my emails. I'm using a LinkSys Series 3 card, OS X 10.2.4.

this seems much better. I'm currently copying a 700 meg file over the network, and it is at about 100 megs and my powerbook hasn't locked up, somthing the earlier drivers couldn't do. If it can make it through the rest of the day without a lockup, then I'm giving it 5 stars. Nice work!

periodic stoppage (something I hope will be fixed in future versions), this is an excellent driver. I have an Asanté AeroLAN AL-1011 card, and the drivers Asanté provides are much less than satisfactory. Anyone thinking their current PCMCIA wireless card drivers are lacking really ought to try this.

the same boat as you with the daily stoppage and forced reboot. I also have a problem where if i am connected to another computer on my network(AFP or FTP) and try and copy a large file from my laptop, the network will lock up every time after a few megs have been transfered. When I take out my card and try the same thing with the built in card(much closer to the basestation) there are no problems.
This thing works better than anything else I've ever spent $20 on in recent memory. Absolutely flawless, easy preference pane which even lets you see your signal strength.
Major kudos to the developers of this.
