Product Description:

Delivers full frame, full size 640x480 NTSC @ 29.97 fps or 768x576 PAL @ 25 fps interlaced (odd and even fields) YUV 4:2:2 color, YUV 4:1:1 color and Monochrome uncompressed video over FireWire.

Provides interactive real time access to image controls for adjusting the Hue, Saturation, Brightness, Contrast and Sharpness.

Supports up to six DFG/1394-1 units each delivering three 320x240 30 fps video streams on a single Mac - perfect for Live Broadcast events or Security applications.

What's new in this version:

Fixed an issue with frame times when users unplugged and re-plugged a Video Source.
Fixed an issue with Apples CFSTR() Macro allocating CFStringRefs and this causing a crash when Garbage Collection 2 is enabled in a QuickTime Application.
Tested up to QT 7.4.5 and OSX 10.5.2.

I have been using this driver with Ben Software’s SecuritySpy and four Image Source DFG1394 units (coordinating four analog cameras) for over a year. It is rock solid in it’s dependability! But the most impressive detail that I have found, is the developer. He is very accommodating with questions or troubleshooting, quick to reply to messages, and open to feature requests. In this often impersonal and automated world, this feature alone is enough to win my support and hard earned money.
