HP Scanjet 5300 series Troubleshooting ReportLeopard Not Compatible with HP 4570c Scanner - Version: 8.4, 2/1/2008 12:00AM PST

I just bought an iMac with Leopard (10.5) installed and my HP 4570c scanner does not work with the latest HP software, which is only good through Tiger (10.4). Is there a work-around? Help!

No Intel support even though Intel Macs were available with this release. It may work better than I think as I discovered a faulty HP USB cable after it failed totally.

For PPC I would recommend it.

Vuescan can use it, but only while running in Rosetta (as HP drivers are still PPC)
