Product Description:
recorder.xhead allows you to record voice memos using internal & external microphones. Save files in .mp3, .mp4, .au, .aif, .avi, .mov, or .wav formats. Export playlist of recorded sounds to iTunes and your voice memos are synced with your iPod.

Besides easy of use. Are there any advatages of this app over QuickTime Pro audio record feature?

This app's rating should be much higher. I tried it and it works very well for what is intended. Better than several others I've tried. My only suggestion at this point is that it would be nice if it had a few more controls and a volume display. (Take a look at the voice recording facility in NoteTaker to see what I'm thinking of.)
And it is very simple to use... Definitely worth the $10.
