TigerLaunch ReviewGreat little tool! - Version: 1.0.3, 2/26/2009 06:17AM PST

I've been using this utility for years now. It's really useful! I would like to add that is also works under X.5 for both PPC and Intel Macs. It would be nice to see some updating going on by the creator, but, it does work as is =)

TigerLaunch ReviewA Nice, Quick Way to Extend Your Dock - Version: 1.0.3, 10/27/2006 02:09PM PST

TigerLaunch has been a very nice way for me to extend the amount of programs I can easily access. Since my dock is pretty well filled up, it's nice to be able to use TigerLaunch to get to my lesser-used programs without having to dig into the Applications folder. At first, I overloaded it with applications, and it became a bit sluggish. However, when I lightened its load by removing programs that I almost never use, it sped up very nicely and now remains a part of my very small collection of startup applications.

TigerLaunch ReviewA great way to find apps - Version: 1.0.2, 7/17/2006 09:21PM PST

TigerLaunch is a very simple straightforward application -- it provides you with a single list of every single app on your computer as a dropdown menu. When I found TigerLaunch it wasn't exactly what I was looking for, but now I find it's one of those apps I can't live without it, when I meat a new mac it's one of the first things I install. I use it to find all those apps that I need every once in a great while -- stuff that I don't use often enough to but in the dock but don't want to have to open a finder and go hunting for when I need it.

Something a little more configurable would be nice, but the utilities along those lines that I've tried have been bloated and I've ended up dropping them in favor of TigerLaunch's simplicity and easy access.

Just another in a batch of hundreds of applications that do the same exact thing. This is no more useful and any of the other freeware items that mimic the functionality. Too bad developers aren't a tad more creative with their time.

This doesn't do anything you couldn't do by dragging a "favorites" folder into your dock.

Except now it's taking up space in the menubar instead.

This is a very handy application, especially for people like myself who likes a clean desktop. I only wish I could add folders in the drop down menu instead of adding all the contents of a folder.
