Hey, quattleb and jscotta44_1 you guys wrote: "But I think that the reacted very quickly to the problem once it was known." and " did AGD think they had inside info...". You guys miss the entire issue here. Macally is an Apple developer and as such DOES indeed get prerelease copies of OS Updates. I know. The thing that made me angry here was that 10.3.8 was on the ADC download site for 4-6 weeks and the final was on for almost a week. If Macally had any sort of QA or regression testing, was proactive, people wouldn't have had all these issues which included lost data and crash hard drives. THAT'S THE ISSUE. Hell in this case all they had to do was load it and sit back and watch! They didn't even do that. At least they could have then warned registered users. Hopefully a lesson learned.
Try USB Overdrive instead - Version: 1.0.3, 2/20/2005 05:43AM PST

I have an iShock I that I've had since pre-OS X days. I still use it, but I use USB Overdrive to control it. I haven't tried any of the Macally drivers in a long while because they were pretty bad!
So you might want to give USB Overdrive a try. I also use it to control my Logitech MX700 cordless mouse. :)

Why is gaming on a Mac such a difficult proposition? Apple needs a game controller preferences panel and developers need to be held accountable to get their drivers working.
