Path Finder is an award-winning file browser and management application for Mac OS X. If you've ever wished Apple's Finder just did feature X or feature Y, Path Finder may be what you've been looking for.

Path Finder is a standalone application that leverages what you already know about working with your files. It takes the Finder's familiar interface and adds numerous powerful features and interface innovations to help anyone be more productive on Mac OS X.

What's new in this version:

  • List view now has a Comments column.
  • Sorting the Sort By and List view columns menus.
  • Stationery files now duplicate before opening like Finder.
  • Setting Spotlight Comments no longer launches Finder.
  • Updated Italian localization.
  • Services menu now in the Contextual menu.
  • Updated to handle more Services.
  • Text drawing updated to CoreText.
  • Added a menu item to change to a custom svn tool path for Subversion.
  • Hitting the escape key now deselects all in the browser.
  • Added zoom gestures to icon view.
  • Fixed some window resize animations to CoreAnimation.
  • Fixed column view when double click on icon is enabled.
  • Fixed a sidebar redrawing issue when dragging in a new item.
  • Fixed a problem with BBEdit.
  • Fixed a problem with the rename editor in list view.

This software is not 64 bit yet according to libertyforall1776! It's the end of the world! It's 2012!! GAME OVER MAN!!! What shall we do?

Frankly libertyforall1776 it will be released for 64 bit when the developer thinks it makes fiscal sense and not one day before that. Why not give us all a rest please!

Had major problems with freezes (spinning ball) when trying basic functions; had to reinstall previous. 1st time ever a bad release?

10.6.1, Mac Pro twin 4bangers, 16 gig ram
