I could not believe that Epson finally updated the software for the 5700i. I just had given up and offered to sell the printer to a buddy of mine using Windows.
It works. Download it and thank you Epson for the slow software upgrade! I know now that Epson is a line to stay away from until it cleans up its act and poor customer service!!!

This file contains the Printer Driver for Epson Laser Printers (Printer Driver v1.2Cs, Core Driver Disk v1.23). This installer places a folder on your desktop labeled "epson11055."
1. Open the epson11055 folder.
2. Double-click the .dmg file to create a disk image with the printer's name on your desktop.
3. Open the disk image.
4. Double-click the installer.pkg file to complete the installation.

I concur with the other people here - NEVER buy an Epson printer for OS X...I've had nothing but nightmares from this (until I bought a new HP).
I feel so strongly about it I can't in good conscience even sell it...
