When you use a custom image, there is no "hotspot" as with the other skins. For a custom image, you must control-click (or right-click if you can) to get the menu. This is the next big feature on my list to allow hotspots with custom images... :-)

Just as a way of tidying up my desktop of a lot of aliases of documents I regularly refer to or update. Don't know if this is a bug but I've tried to put my own custom images on this & they only work if I control/click on them. I've noticed that the official skins will open the drop down menu if they are control/clicked from anywhere on their surface but they have a specific zone, such as the dial on the iPod ones, where it works with a regular mouse click.

Send me images (preferably as TIFFs), I will turn your wonderful artwork into a skin plugin. Let me know whether you'd like it just for yourself, or if you'd be willing to share the skin with other users (to be included in a future release of Creature). Or, create some images of "frames" of animation, I can also animate your work. Lots of possibilities! Just drop me an email at my yahoo account (jmhtruman AT yahoo.com).

LaunchItems CM lists options are now just one-click away (apart from when a custom graphic is used) - Needs Artisans to produce some interesting skins or a easy to use developer kit as the creator of this monster just mentioed -All Great- But Creature takes up alot of memory - as much as running PathFinder - worked well and nice idea, just not for me.

the bug reports... igabe: especially with the plugin architecture, skins can be made now that do animation - I designed the API with animated skins in mind. starfinder33 (and anyone): feel free to send images and I'll turn them into skins. If I get enough, I'll release a Creature Skin Pack or bundle them with the next release.

there is a bug, adding an application item does not show up the description and quits unexpectedly. Great if menu items would have icons, and also the separator is not customizable, I have use the speak text as a seperator as a work-around.

is good). in this version 1.2 John Haney has made Creature quite enjoyable to use and easy to set up. The only problem I came accross was ading a separator line to the menu, it deleted the line item when choosing (separator). John thanks for this treat and I know the big cat enjoys having it around to play with. Great software John.

I'll make some custom skins and drop them yr way, John :) igabe: its just a small simple fun application wich can hold some of your favorite apps, shortcuts etc. What do u mean 'Pay'?... its freeware!
