Product Description:
Macaroni is a tool which handles regular maintenance for Mac OS X. Maintenance includes Unix maintenance, Mac OS X permission repair, and removal of unnecessary language localizations.
- Automatically runs maintenance jobs
- Configurable: Add your own scheduled tasks
- Custom tasks can be scheduled as daily, weekly, monthly, or at regular intervals (such as "every three days").
- Tracks maintenance history
- Displays results of latest maintenance run.
- Tasks may be configured to run only during system idle time.
- Tasks may be configured to wait until your system is plugged in, saving battery power.
- Maintains Mac OS X Unix permissions using the "Permission Repair" utility

Unobtrusive, set it up, and it just works. I have it installed on several Macs. I find it much easier to configure than *censored*tail, for example.

Clear history still not working with 2.1.1 version. (Leopard 10.5.1 Macbook pro and PPC)
You can clear it but when you re-openned the history window, log are still there !
Another thing :
You can't alway put to 7 days for exemple, the "Automatically clear entries". It always stay on 90 days even if you put it on 7 days ...
More, Support is not effective, they never answer .

It also reveals a weekness of VersionTrackerPro - if you have installed Macaroni VersionTrackerPro does not recognise it, at least not with 10.4.11.
