So, hows come my months-old app says it's 6.04.128?

Movie Magic Screenwriter has many interesting features that help me better organize and edit my screenplays. This is the kind of thing that Final Draft might have come up with had they had been interested in even the slightest innovation over the last 15 years. The one caveat however is that MMS installs PACE Anti-Piracy software at the root level. This is reminiscent of the SONY Rookit. I realize that piracy is a problem, but there must be another way. If you don't mind giving applications root permission to phone home then you might like Movie Magic Screenwriter. I'll be upgrading to Leopard soon and I don't think that I'll have this running on my machine.

I have been using this for years but the company has given up on it. The Title Tool is archaic and the script comparison tool crashes all the time (despite re-installs, etc). The company doesn't listen to feedback. It's time to switch to Final Draft which is the LEADER in this business.
