Sorry to disappoint you but there is no new version.
on the server is still the old version from 2009 (Build 2732). Also when you klick on the licensing email message from PGP - still the old version. on the build in update funktion only the old version...

PGP sorry, we know service is not available at PGP - but what is this?

PGP Desktop Troubleshooting ReportHow to upgrade - Version: 10.0, 1/25/2010 01:00PM PST

You sort of have to have been there before.

Existing licensed users need to "remember" their latest licensing email message from PGP. They told you to keep it handy!

That same link will take you to the PGP LMS (License Management System) logon page. Logon. You do remember how you logged on the last time, right?

After you have logged onto the LMS, PGP10 is available for download for Windows, Mac and Linux. PGP recently changed their licensing - if you had a license for one platform, you now have one license for any platform. Just not more than one at the same time.

PGP Support is the worst i have ever seen.
they are verry slow in fixing buggs, respond of a problems takes up to weeks.

the softwre is ok but for example apple mail is not supportetd, so if you want to encrypt a email no chance in apple mail....

the even dont know what is snow leopard so dont expect a update to work in snow leopard

PGP Desktop Review9.9.1 looks good so far - Version: 9.9.1, 2/11/2009 01:59AM PST

plaintiger

i've been using PGP products on and off for years, and like others i have had some problems with their bugs, user-hostile interfaces/installation procedures, and questionable support. i can't claim to have really put it through its paces yet, but i will say that so far, PGP Desktop Home 9.9.1 is the least problematic PGP product i've used. it installed properly the first time (*that's* never happened before) and i haven't yet seen any unexpected behaviors...all of which - especially in light of the nightmares wrought by my attempt to use the free, open-source substitutes (GPGThis, GPGThat, and GPGTheOtherThing) - are very welcome.

my experience isn't very extensive, but as far as it goes, it indicates that PGP's the security package to use. 9.9.1 appears solid, and the alternatives i've tried definitely suck.

good luck...

PGP Desktop ReviewGo back to your purchase confirmation... - Version: 9.9, 1/9/2009 07:54PM PST

...attached as a PDF to the confirmation email from PGP, and you will find a non-expiring link.

I have never had the kind of problems with this product other people do. And I am not a moron, nor a PGP employee.

Hey, PGP morons: let me know when the download link actually links to a download. Until then, stop wasting pixels.

I, too, have had a damned frustrating few years as a customer of PGP. At one point (in 2006 I think) I got so pissed off with their opaque contact "cone of silence" I wrote some really shitty emails. As a result, a human contacted me and subsequently proved helpful and conciliatory.

It's probably not fair to post his email address here without asking him first, so I won't. But grumpy users might consider writing to <contact@pgp.com>, Another place to register your dissatisfaction is <http://www.crankycustomer.com/>

PGP Desktop Review'm Giving Up on PGP - Version: 9.9, 10/24/2008 07:29AM PST

(3 of 4 users found this comment useful)

Thanx
I need to upgrade. I'm eligible, but their silly CRM system is such garbage that it can't handle the upgrade request, and they deliberately prevent you from contacting them about it.

This is crazy. They actually don't want me or my entire organization to give them money for their product.

OpenPGP, here we come...
