As for those with issues in using iFlash, I have had no bad experiences at all. I am using OS 10.5.6. iFlash rocks!

I'm not usually bothering with leaving comments on products I use, but this well deserves some notes. I use it for language learning and exam prep. I love the fact that images can be attached, I do so with screenshots for formulas and graphs that make memorising easier for me.
The program is very intuitive and easy to use.
I also like the feature that card decks can be shared with other users. Not that I needed it so far, but I like the idea that not only is the program itself shareware, but so is the content put together by the users.
Well done!

Software's not bad, though it does have its problems. You really can't create a deck with many scanned images, so if that is what you are planning, forget it. Biggest problem of all is, there is no support. My Emails have gone unanswered for nearly a month, and the moderator of the support forum has not posted any messages submitted for three months.

First of all I'd like to say that this is a very useful and powerful piece of software. You can customize it any way you want depending on your learning style. With that being said I've had 2 issues with the program while using it.

1) Although the program supports images you cannot use a single image on all of the flashcard "sides" unless you attach the images separately. I built a stack of cards with 6 sides instead of the traditional front and back. I wanted an image to be visible throughout all of the 6 sides. In order to do this I had to attach an image per side, instead of attaching one and have it to be visible to all sides.

2) Whenever I save my flashcards it takes a long time for it to save, up to 2 minuntes!!! Keep in mind though this might be because I have such an image intensive set of flashcards. But even then, it shouldn't take so long to save. Sometimes I'm afraid that it'll stall and freeze up on me before it gets a chance to save.

Other than that great software. Hopefully the creator can find a fix regarding these issues.

A full-featured flash card app at the pinnacle of Mac-like-ness. The interval studying option is very handy.

iFlash ReviewGood product - Version: 2.6.4, 12/6/2005 03:12PM PST

iFlash is a reliable product, which is actively supported, and it has a good set of features. It is very easy to set up a deck of cards, and the software works like advertised. I have not made use of the audio possibilities myself, but it is good to know that iFlash supports that.

What I would like to request, to stimulate my appetite in learning vocab, is some graphs of recent study session scores. For Hebrew, FoundationStone (freeware!) has a brilliant set of graphs, which iFlash (which supports more languages, but has less features) does not.

Overall, highly recommended.

I'm currently using iFlash to learn a foreign language. I've found it quite easy to setup and use daily. Its ability to keep track of what you have memorized and how well you know a card via scoring is very well implemented. My foreign language has it's own character set, and with iFlash I can have 3 (or more) sided cards to accomodate English, Phonetic and Foreign language. This is a very well done app, incredible interface too. I enjoy using iFlash so much that I forget I'm studying and I find that I'm learning at a faster pace now.
