Product Description:

viewTunes is a simple application I have been working on that gathers the song information from from iTunes and displays the information in your AOL Instant Messenger profile. Display your choice of song title, artist, album, year, genre, rating, and previous song. Also, Add your own profile information to be displayed in addition to song information, and set how often you would like your profile to update

What's new in this version:

Main Window is now resizeable upto 1680x960 (105 albums). The Main Window, Playlist Window, and Album Info Window can now be open at the same time. Drag and Drop works for adding albums or songs to a playlist or creating a new playlist. Playlist Window and Album Info Window are now resizeable.
Playlists are now stored in .xml format.
Fixed bug that prevented drag and drop for album covers 50 and up.

This app is okay. I wish I could customize it more. Also, I'd rather there be no HTML in the profile when I open it. Everytime I open this app I have to delete the HTML because it causes my profile to be too long and it cuts off words and stuff.

Also, when I'm looking in the iTunes MusicStore and I play a song I get a pop up error. This gets annoying after a while and it would be better if the app could recognize MusicStore songs and leave it on the song I was originally playing in iTunes before I previewed a song in the MusicStore.

this sounds like a very cool app… i'd love to see it available for Fire (http://fire.sourceforge.net/).

good app. works great. one feature request i have is to be able to add "extra profile info" before and after the viewTunes info. otherwise, a great app! i prefer using viewTunes over aim//audio//pimp. as far as iChat vs. AIM vs. other 3rd party apps, AIM rules all. more features, and just plain better than the rest... would you rather have the real deal or an imitation? i'd rather have the real deal (AIM).
