I really have no complaints about the program- just a little annoyed at the delivery of its functions. I was in a real hurry to record my friends' band on the radio from my computer and downloaded Audio Hijack and had it up and running in minutes (maybe even 1 minute). Great. I started recording just in time. However, (and this is the WARNING to everyone else who downloads this program) the program prior to being registered, will add white noise to the audio after a certain amount of time. Didn't realize if there was a warning about this but regardless, I should have just bought the program. So that part of the performance was ruined. But most annoyingly is that when I did buy it and register it, I had already lost a good chunk of the performance and so in my haste, I only hit the Hijack button and not the Record button as well. I saw my levels and everything seemed good. But no. I wound up not recording anything after the white noise. Again, entirely my fault. Just wondering what purpose one would have to hijack some audio but not record it? So I lost the entire performance after the white noise. I'm sure I'll get to use this program again eventually... I guess.

I also noticed some clicking and popping when navigating around on my computer. Mostly when I would quit other applications. But if I left it alone, it performed flawlessly.

Other than that, the audio quality of the recording is as good as the source. It's a great program. I would recommend it with the above warnings.

Audio Hijack CommentaryKudos to RogueAmoeba for making this upgrade to Leopard available! - Version: 2.2.6, 11/5/2007 10:35AM PST

It was great of them to upgrade a product that they no longer sell and make money from for their customers who already have Audio Hijack. Wonderful customer service. A lot of places would have just offered un upgrade deal for the new product and saved themselves the trouble of doing work where the only profit would be good will.

I do wish that VersionTracker would make it clear right in the header that this product is no longer for sale instead of listing a purchase price that no longer applies. RogueAmoeba makes it quite clear on their web site that AH is not for sale anymore, and VT should do the same to avoid disappointing people who see this and think they can get AH for $16.
