After you click download, you're sent to the Demo Download page, which asks for name, email, and country (all required). That sends you to the http://support.screenplay.com/ page where it appears you can click on the "Updates for Mac OS 10.5 (Leopard)" link. Clicking on that, you're then sent to the "Tech News" page, which helpfully says: "Please e-mail Technical Support to request the download link for the new installer." Clicking on the "e-mail Technical Support" link. That sends you to the "Customer Information - Step 1" page where you are required to provide your Serial Number, and then, again, your name and email. If you have a serial number (I'm a registered user who has been waiting years for this update so I actually have a valid serial number), then that page sends you to "Technical Information - Step 2" where now (and I'm not making this up...note that this all started from the VT Download link) you must select which product, platform, OS, and the PROBLEM you're having!! Since the problem I'm having is Write Brothers has not bothered to actually set up a viable link to download the update or a demo, I proceeded to submit my "problem" on the last of this meandering maze of webpages, which would be "Check Information - Step 3". Abandon hope all ye who enter here!

This is a fine program, but it is long overdue for an update to an OS X native version. Where's the Cocoa goodness? There is little reason to upgrade (or make an initial purchase) without an OS X native version.

This is ridiculous. Don't waste your money on this over-priced monstrosity. Try instead one of the following:
Avenir (Mariner Software) -- $30.00
Jer's Novel Writer -- $25.00
Mariner Software will also be coming out with a more comprehensive story and novel plotting application, StoryMIll 3.0, in another month.
