DVD Capture CommentaryWorks okay for me - Version: 2.5, 2/20/2009 12:24AM PST

I used to use this on my old G4, and it worked really well. Just today I needed to use it again and I am happy to report that it works fine on my 2x3 Dual-Core Intel Xeon Mac Pro tower running 10.4.11
Just letting you know.

DVD Capture Reviewinstructions crap, product ok - Version: 2.5, 1/30/2008 12:00AM PST

Doesn't plug into dvd player, sort of sits on the side. Would be nice if it integrated fully, but having to use both controls to do frame by frame advance then capture is annoying. Saying that though, the quality of the images was good. Yes it did include some of the background, but not as much as some of the other reviewers.

I need an alternative to google image and this let me get great JPG files directly from the dvd I'm playing.

It's great and it's very easy to use.

DVD Capture Reviewnice - but didn't work - Version: 2.5, 3/6/2007 08:15AM PST

It looks nice and I appreciate the interface. It might be that I am using old hardware - a G4 AGP Sawtooth with the factory video card - but I am using the latest system 10.4.8. Looks nice. Took a capture. All I got was black.

DVD Capture ReviewNot quite - Version: 2.5, 7/3/2006 02:01PM PST

I have a Mac G4 MDD dual 867 MHz running Tiger 10.4.7. DVDCapture automatically reduces the DVD player window and then takes a snapshot of the small image, which is not very useful. I simply need to take a snapshot of the paused image when the DVD Player is set on full screen, but it simply won't do it. This obviously is an early version of DVDCapture. The developers have their work cut out for them.

DVD Capture CommentaryCaptures 1/4 of DVD window on Al.PowerBook G4 1.5GHz - Version: 2.5, 7/31/2005 03:42AM PST

Captures lower right 1/4 of DVD window andther rest is Desktop (on Al.PowerBook G4 1.5GHz, Tiger 10.4.2)...
No way to capture DVD screen. It tries to resize DVD window and in that moment makes capture. THe problem is that it takes capture in the wring time, when in the capture area is just 1/4 of the DVD window...

DVD Capture ReviewOnly works on my G5 running Tiger 10.4.1 - Version: 2.5, 7/12/2005 11:00AM PST

Does not work on my upgraded 1.3GHz G4 Sawtooth, or on my 400MHz Lime iMac. Only works on my G5 running Tiger 10.4.1 When you can get it to work, it does good. Wish it would work on more Macs.
