PHP iCalendar ReviewLove IT!! - Version: 2.22, 12/5/2008 06:35AM PST

So easy to use and set up. Publish my .ics files via FTP and then PHP iCalendar parses them. No more mobile me/dotmac. My employees can login into their own calendars when out and about ... perfect.

PHP iCalendar Commentarygreat application - Version: 2.22, 8/30/2006 04:10PM PST

This is a nice and great application. Did necessitate only a couple of operations in the 'config' file, $save_parsed_cals $tmp_dir and $language, but no big deal. It is just what I was looking for! Now I can share calendars with colleagues that do not have a Macintosh (but a web browser...) and without having a .Mac account (the only 2 options available in iCal for sharing your calendar). Besides it is a very nice looking application with intelligent and usefull options, and many languages. It desserves 5*.
ok, I don't like the grey color whatever the color palette for the 'event' in year view which are the one I would like to put in front: les goƻts et les couleurs...

Changing the preference for the view option (day, month, etc.) does not work, I just added 'month.php' in my bookmarks.

Did not try the RSS feature yet.

PHP iCalendar CommentaryNot easy to use....unless you are already familiar wtih PHP - Version: 2.21, 3/24/2006 04:11PM PST

Some of the prior posts mention "easy to use". Well, for the average mac user I would strongly disagree. The "install" is a folder of 22 files and folders, some of which are php and one lone readme. The readme refers the reader to http://developer.apple.com/internet/macosx/php.html . That link alone (and its contents would overwhelm an ordinary mac user. It refers to changing config files and using superuser do (SUDO) commands. The readme for the tool is also not easy unless you have a background in setting up php on your mac (you do know how to do that right?). Anyway, the installation would be relatively simple for a "knowledgable" person but it is hardly easy for an average mac user. This is not a comment on the usefullness or effectiveness of the product, only that it is NOT easy to use. I'm a developer and I'm not finding it easy.

Love this product, have used it for a long time.
Easy to use and set up, and I don't even know any PHP. :-)

PHP iCalendar Usage TipI gave this a try - Version: 2.1, 11/28/2005 06:16PM PST

It works fine, I had a minor problem.

Firstly, it doesn't load in the designated view. I had it set to week, it loads in day.

Secondly, I would like to see this load in a rendered view. As if I was viewing the calendar in iCal.

Other than that I was very happy with this PHP script. Runs very smoothly.

PHP iCalendar Troubleshooting ReportDecompression failed :( - Version: 2.1, 10/31/2005 04:53AM PST

I used to use this script back at old time and I loved it.

I'm now trying to test this version, but each time I download I get a decompression erreor like "Unexpected end of file".

I've tried the .zip and .tgz file, either downloading on local computer or wgetting via ssh on my werbserver :(

Anybody having the same issue?

Thanks!
