Product Description:

Package Merge Beta is a small utility I made in about 20 minutes to combine a partial application package left by Apple's installers (if you move around and reorganize your apps) with the full application. Anyone with this problem will know what I'm talking about.

I know this thing is a kludge, but it works.

What's new in this version:

  • No more System errors. Creation of backups of the original packages is automatic now. Still very buggy though. Maybe a real programmer with some free time would like to adopt this baby?

choice. The company IS called Dangerous Wares ;) I've done some extensive testing on beta 2 and it does it's job well (and makes backups in case it doesn't) if you're wondering. Oh, and B2 is up now, horray!

this thing with a 10m poll. You should never do anything that alters the updates you download from Apple. If they don't install right the first time - trash the partial install and do it again....

internet related problem, outgoing FTP was firewalled at my school. For this reason, I was unable to upload beta 2. Beta 1 is still on the sever and will be downloaded instead in the even that you click download. Please don't review this product as Beta 1 does not function properly (well, at all, actually!)
