OnMyCommand ReviewMagnificent - Version: 1.9, 1/23/2008 12:00AM PST

This is a wonderful and powerful utility; I'm already using it to replace FinderEye and AcidSearch, and it has many more possibilities beyond that. I found the UI of the command editor a little disorienting at first, but it was well worth the slight effort. I've been searching in vain for even a hint that the author accepts Amazon donations; this utility is so good that I’d be delighted to pay for it.

Great freeware offering the ability to create your own contextual menu commands. Very sophisticated software yet easy enough for non programmer types.

I made the switch to a MacBook Pro and while I liked it, I didn't love it. The problem was that much of the software I have come to rely on has not been ported to universal binaries. One of these glaring omissions was OMC. Using Mac OS X without it is painful and now that I have it again on my machine, I'm much more productive and happier. Thank you for this terrific software that is unbelievably versatile.

but v. 1.7.1 doesn't seem to work under MacOS 10.3.9. Anybody else noticed it's no even showing up on ctrl-click? Everything was/is OK with v. 1.7.

OnMyCommand Developer NoteOMCEdit 1.7 is released - Version: 1.7b1, 7/24/2005 11:21AM PST

OMCEdit 1.7 final is released and supports all features planned for final OMC 1.7 release. Please note that current OMC 1.7b1 does not support the following features which are already available in OMCEdit UI:
1. output dialog autoclose timeout
2. version requirements checking
3. default filename for "Save as" dialog
4. __FRONT_APPLICATION_NAME__ & __FRONT_PROCESS_ID__
5. Default text with objects for input dialog (old-style, static default text works as it used to)

OnMyCommand Troubleshooting ReportRE: Breaks contextual menu in iTunes - Version: 1.7b1, 7/24/2005 11:12AM PST

One user found that "LEDSpectrumAnalyser.bundle" iTunes plug-in causes the conflict. It might be that some other iTunes plug-ins misbehave too.

OnMyCommand CommentaryBreakes contextual menu in iTunes - Version: 1.7b1, 7/16/2005 08:17AM PST

This version and also v1.6.x interferes with some contextual menu items of iTunes. The "Edit Smart Playlist" does no longer work if the OMC plug-in is installed. After removing it everything works as expected again.
