Absolutely great! We need the App even in an big network and it does it's job without any failures! When I had a problem, the support was instantly given, not as described from others!

Thank for this great product!

Xupport ReviewTried em all... this one's the best. - Version: 3.6.0, 10/30/2009 04:05PM PST

I've tried em all, and they all have advantages and disadvantages. This one is stable, robust enough, fast and quite easy to use. Most importantly it has never messed up my machine, as a few of the others have done. Glad to see it finally getting an update. Hope the developer will be supporting it more often and actively now. Try it!

Xupport ReviewThere's a lot of other software that does what this does - Version: 3.5.0, 10/23/2009 09:44PM PST

When there's a version that works with the current version of the OS this program is tough to beat. Unfortunately updates are so few and far between and with absolutely NO communication from the developer, I'm forced to conclude that this is abandonware. If this software works with your current version of OS X, good for you. It really is a great program but with no support. I personally have given up on it. I currently use Tinkertool/Tinkertool System. little more difficult to use since it consists of two applications, but it is regularly updated and costs $5.00 less.

Xupport CommentaryIt's unfortunate . . . - Version: 3.5.0, 9/2/2009 04:15AM PST

because I've used Xupport for years and have found it to be one of my most valuable utilities -- but it's been almost impossible for me to find out when, or even if, there will be a Snow Leopard-compatible version. No one at Applicorn ever seems to answer e-mail, and I never hear about updates until I receive a note that one is available. I sincerely hope that a version for 10.6 will come out soon, but in any event, Applicorn's business model obviously leaves a great deal to be desired. It's almost as though they don't care if they have any customers or not -- and maybe they don't.

Xupport CommentaryNo Tech Support available - Version: 3.5.0, 7/24/2009 06:11PM PST

Earlier this year, I submitted three support requests on Applicorn's web site, over the course of three months. The only feedback I got was an automatic email showing me a copy of my question.
So here is my question again, just in case some human reads this:

When running "System Optimization" in update mode or repeat mode, I get an error message that says "update pre-binding too many errors 101" and then the Maintenance pilot stops and I'm asked to restart the computer. So I restart, run the optimization again, and get the same result.

Well, as it happens, after a few months the problem disappeared. I can run the optimization without any obscure error messages. But the mystery remains and so does my irritation with Applicorn.

Furthermore, the user manual is not any help.
I understand this program is highly rated. Maybe it does what it is supposed to do, but if customer service and support is considered, I would give it a zero.

Xupport ReviewDoes not install - Version: 3.5.0, 6/29/2009 08:21AM PST

I have bought Xupport in 2007 and was quite happy with it, until version 3.4.3; then the installer seemed to work well, however it failed to install the software; there simply was no file called Xupport anywhere on my harddisk. The very same happened with 3.5.

I informed the developer in May 2008, however never received a reply, despite my reminding him at least once. So off the remaining files go from my harddisk. There are enough similar programs around that work.

Xupport ReviewThe Best of the Lot - Version: 3.5.0, 1/13/2009 11:05AM PST

I have tried, and purchased, so many of these maintenance/optimization apps. Some of them are fairly good. Some of them are a mixed bag. Some are free. Some are ridiculously, unnecessarily complicated. And some are actually a bit dangerous, and tend to create problems, that are a pain to fix. But Xupport is safe, fast, thorough and elegant.

I've been using Xupport for the past few years now, and I can not even say one bad word about it. A good example of just how good, powerful, and simple to use, a quality OS X utility app can (and should) be. This is by far the best of the lot. Kudos. *****

i've just tested at http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/ with Xupport's network optimization enabled and disabled, for both cable and satellite connections (i have cable, but it's faster by default than a lot of cable connections) and discovered that my 'net connection is actually faster with Xupport's optimization *off* than with it on.

your mileage may vary. i recommend testing your own connection with Xupport's network optimization on and off before drawing any conclusions from this...i thought i should pass it along though...
